Terms of Service

Last updated: draft — see note at the bottom before relying on this.

The service

TourismPulse provides tourism economic-impact data via an API and downloadable PDF reports, drawn from publicly published state and federal sources. New accounts get 3 free reports; continued use requires a paid plan (see Pricing).

Accuracy of report data

We source figures directly from the cited state, federal, or vendor publication for each report, and note our extraction confidence on every record. We don't guarantee the underlying source data is error-free, and you should verify any figure before using it in a formal filing, grant application, or public statement — the extraction confidence field is a real signal, not a formality.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Don't share API keys outside your own organization.

Your public destination page and itinerary highlights

If you enable a public destination page, you're responsible for what you publish there, including any place you mark as a "local favorite" — that flag is your own endorsement, not ours, and not an algorithmic claim.

Billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your dashboard at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't use the API or reports to misrepresent data as coming from a source it didn't come from, or to circumvent plan quotas or destination limits.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service itself over time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

This is a draft written to accurately describe how this product actually works, not generic template text — but it hasn't had a legal review. Have an actual lawyer review it before relying on it, especially before selling to government or institutional customers who may have their own procurement or compliance requirements.
